A Quiet Return to Noriko’s Poetry

A quiet path through memory and bloom — International Christian University, Mitaka, Tokyo.

“A quiet path through memory and bloom — International Christian University, Mitaka, Tokyo. March 2021 | Sakura season Where I walked with questions, found silence sweeter than answers, and watched petals teach me how to let go.”
Welcome back to my corner of the world — Noriko’s Poetry, where ink meets emotion, and the unsaid finds breath. After a season of silence, I return not just as a poet, but as a woman who has walked through winds, waited through stillness, and listened closely to life’s softer notes. Japan changed me. So did solitude, service, and the sacred. Now, every word I write carries the scent of incense, the echo of pirith, and the ache of longing. This blog was born as a refuge — for me, and maybe for you too. A place where femininity is fluid, love is a prayer, and poetry is a way of touching the divine. I’ll be sharing verses old and new, reflections that rise like steam from early-morning tea, and glimpses of a woman quietly claiming her voice again. If you’ve been here before, thank you for waiting. If you’re new — welcome. You’re entering a space where softness is strength, and stories bloom.
With metta and light, Noriko
